Candle Care & Safety

Directions for Use

• Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn.
• Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface during the first burn to help prevent tunneling.
• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
• Keep the wick centered and free of wick trimmings, matches, or other debris.
• Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

Safety Precautions

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Burn within sight and extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.
• Keep away from children, pets, drafts, ceiling fans, curtains, and anything that can catch fire.
• Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Do not move or touch the candle while the wax is melted or the container is hot.
• Keep candles at least 6 inches apart when burning multiple candles.
• Never use water to extinguish a candle. Blow it out gently or use a candle snuffer.
• The container may become hot during use. Allow it to cool completely before handling.
• Stop burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains to help prevent overheating or damage to the container.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat to preserve the fragrance and appearance of your candle.
